A Passion for Storytelling Through Costumes

Nancy’s passion is costume designing for film, stage, and performing groups. She had the opportunity to be Costume Manager at the Medals Plaza for the Salt Lake City 2002 Olympics. She brings over 25 years of experience in various wardrobe capacities – as a costume designer, wardrobe supervisor, set costumer and wardrobe consultant. She is known for collaborative efforts, from drawings to finished costume. She enjoys working with all aspects of a costume department and is committed to creating and designing costumes to forward a character, focus on the story arch and how costumes can communicate the mental and emotional elements of a character within the story. Nancy is the Resident Costume Designer for Jackson Hole Playhouse, Jackson, Wyoming and just finished up creating  costumes for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.  

Most recently collaborated with Angel Studios for the premiere of the animated feature film David.  An upcoming series for the Salt Lake Temple 2027 Open House, An alien-Christmas film, Sol Hershowitz' Guide to Extraterrestrial Life! starring Brandon Routh and Martin Kove, Franklin Covey, The Advocates, and other character based commercials.

Hobbies include, reading, watching costume dramas, hanging with family and friends, judging Winter Guard International and Marching Band Competitions,  and all things BYU sports.  Go Cougs!
